I have a Cannondale F400 mountain bike with Mavic X517 rims and I want to know if it with Hutchinson Python tubeless compatible. Currently, my tires use tubes.

The tire is now intended that the tires as a tube or less and attach using a hose?

Most wheels Mavic tubeless tire compatible, but only 819 is designed for tubeless (sealed spoke bed).
You can turn any tubeless tires (even with the tires regularly, provided that the use of adhesive tapes and Stan RIM). See 1 Link.
However, tubeless is not without problems and not for all. And it works better with a larger diameter tires (2.1 "+). See the discussion in the 2nd link.
